Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, compassionate nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to any changes
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Support and educate families during difficult moments
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• PICU or pediatric critical care experience is strongly preferred
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making skills
• Ability to stay calm and effective in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols
• Skilled in using patient monitoring and assessment equipment
• Understanding of pediatric medication dosing and safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
