Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling based on availability
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
- Support and educate families during their child's hospital stay
- Document patient progress accurately and advocate for the best outcomes
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Massachusetts or compact state license
- BLS certification required; PALS strongly preferred
- Previous pediatric ICU or critical care experience is a plus
- Ability to think quickly, stay calm, and prioritize in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and pediatric assessment skills
- Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and pediatric life support equipment
- Knowledge of pediatric medication dosing and IV therapy
- Compassionate, family-centered care approach
- Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation
