Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Support and educate families during their child's hospital stay
• Document patient progress accurately and advocate for the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Massachusetts or compact state license
• BLS certification required; PALS strongly preferred
• Previous pediatric ICU or critical care experience is a plus
• Ability to think quickly, stay calm, and prioritize in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and pediatric assessment skills
• Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and pediatric life support equipment
• Knowledge of pediatric medication dosing and IV therapy
• Compassionate, family-centered care approach
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation
