Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs, interpret data, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate and support families with clear communication and empathy
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts
• Current BLS certification required
• PALS certification strongly preferred
• Experience in pediatric critical care, PICU, or acute pediatrics is a plus
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and critical care monitoring
• Mechanical ventilation and airway management
• Central venous catheter care and management
• Pediatric medication dosing and administration
• Family-centered care principles
• Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency
