Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 12-hour shifts (no break); specific start and end times vary by assignment
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor vital signs, interpret data, and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate and support families with clear communication and empathy
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification required
- PALS certification strongly preferred
- Experience in pediatric critical care, PICU, or acute pediatrics is a plus
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric assessment and critical care monitoring
- Mechanical ventilation and airway management
- Central venous catheter care and management
- Pediatric medication dosing and administration
- Family-centered care principles
- Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency
