Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per Diem, 12-hour shifts (day and night, schedule varies based on unit needs)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Continuously assess patient status and respond quickly to changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with families
- Support and educate families through challenging moments
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts (or compact state)
- BLS certification required; PALS certification strongly preferred
- Previous pediatric or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving per diem environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of pediatric medications, dosing, and emergency protocols
- Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate under pressure
- Team player who values collaboration and shared expertise
