Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, family-centered nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex treatments in the PICU
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to create and adjust patient care plans
- Support and educate families during some of their most vulnerable moments
- Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate care as needed
- Document patient care accurately and maintain a safe, healing environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Current PALS certification
- Experience in pediatric critical care or PICU preferred
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric critical care knowledge
- Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and central lines
- Sharp critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Compassionate, calm presence in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
