Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric ICU patients
• Monitor and assess critically ill children, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team on care plans
• Educate and support families through challenging times
• Document patient status and care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Current PALS certification required
• Previous pediatric or PICU experience preferred
• BSN degree preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric critical care nursing knowledge
• Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and emergency equipment
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Compassionate and empathetic communication style
