Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry and assess subtle changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively during handoffs

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Prior acute care or PCU/step-down experience is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Skilled in IV therapy and medication administration
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent documentation and EHR proficiency
