Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' readiness for discharge
• Manage pain and address any complications during recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure safe outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and next steps

Qualifications

• Current and active Louisiana RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• PACU, critical care, or med-surg experience is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of post-anesthesia care and patient monitoring
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
