Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend with possibility of floating to other Med-Surg departments

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to ortho bone and joint patients during night shifts
Monitor patient conditions closely and respond swiftly to needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize recovery outcomes
Float to other Med-Surg areas as needed, expanding your impact
Champion patient safety and comfort in a dynamic hospital setting

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
CSU-ALS preferred for ICU floating opportunities
Experience in ortho, Med-Surg, or related acute care settings

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong NIHSS assessment skills for neurological monitoring
Proficiency in BLS and ACLS protocols
Adaptability to float across PCU, acute rehab, and ICU units
Compassionate patient-centered care with attention to detail
