Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia status
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Support and educate families before, during, and after surgery

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification strongly preferred
• Previous OR experience, especially with pediatric patients
• Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile technique
• Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring
• Understanding of pediatric anesthesia and recovery
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
