Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and self-care

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred, but passionate new grads are welcome to apply
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and best practices
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care
