Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families
• Maintain a safe and healing environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred, but new graduates welcome
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
• Compassionate and empathetic bedside manner
