Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6 hours per shift (orientation included)
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients in a Med/Surg setting
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- Previous pediatric or Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric assessment and family-centered care
- Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Patient and family education
- Electronic health records (EHR) charting
- Teamwork, adaptability, and compassionate communication
