Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric Med/Surg patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, recognizing changes and responding quickly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments following safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and families to create and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and home care
• Advocate for the unique needs of children and their families in every interaction

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric or Med/Surg nursing is a plus
• Comfortable working flexible per diem shifts, including weekends as needed
• A passion for pediatric nursing and making kids feel safe

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Confidence in pediatric medication administration and dosing
• Excellent communication and family-education skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Team-oriented mindset with a caring, calm demeanor
