Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for children with medical-surgical conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV therapies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care thoroughly

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Previous experience in pediatric nursing or med/surg is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric growth and development
• Skill in administering pediatric medications and dosages
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
