Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments and care to patients with breathing challenges like asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Evaluate patient conditions and provide life-saving interventions in a fast-paced acute care setting
Operate advanced equipment including Servo I ventilators, Hamilton ventilators, V60 and Astral CPAP/BIPAP machines
Perform critical procedures such as ABGs and CPT to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with a close-knit team including physicians to ensure top-tier patient care

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure
2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Team player mindset with strong critical thinking skills

Education

Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Experience with trauma patients preferred
Skilled in ventilator management and respiratory procedures
Patient-focused approach in high-volume, fast-paced environments
