Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safe outcomes
Assist with procedures including C-sections, versions, and circumcisions
Collaborate with doulas and massage therapists to enhance patient comfort
Float to other units as needed to support the broader care team
Document care accurately using Meditech Expanse and CPN Connect

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state
Minimum 2 years of L&D and postpartum experience
Current BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications
STABLE and PALS certifications preferred
Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and labor support

Education

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Comfortable floating to nursery, NICU, or other units as needed
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient experience
