Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding quickly to changes
• Assist with deliveries, C-sections, and emergency procedures with confidence and skill
• Educate and support families through the birthing process and postpartum care
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the safest possible outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• NRP certification strongly preferred
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience is a plus, but new grads with a passion for L&D are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal assessment
• Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
