Location: Herrin, Illinois

Start Date: 05-11-2026

End Date: 08-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend Friday and Saturday nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients to uncover their mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families
Apply sharp nursing clinical judgment to spot and report changes in patient conditions
Foster a positive workplace by resolving conflicts with professional communication
Meet core measure standards to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain precise and complete medical records
Engage in continuing education to stay at the forefront of rehab nursing

Qualifications

Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in inpatient rehab preferred
Stroke certification is a fantastic plus

Education

Registered Nurse licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Inpatient rehab expertise
Strong nursing clinical judgment
Patient assessment mastery
High neuro population care including stroke patients
