Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust treatment plans
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changing needs
• Educate and support patients and their families during stressful times
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care thoroughly

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with ventilators, cardiac monitors, and IV therapies
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to stay calm and act decisively in emergencies
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Compassion and empathy for patients and families
