Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient status

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or compact license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• CCRN certification desirable

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced knowledge of ICU equipment and monitoring devices
• Expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making under pressure
• Compassionate patient advocacy and family support
• Knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
