Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, compassionate care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-support interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families through challenging times
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and progress

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Knowledge of critical care medications and protocols
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies
• Excellent teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach
