Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess emergency conditions with speed and accuracy
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver optimal care
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during critical moments
• Document patient histories, vital signs, and care plans meticulously
• Respond quickly and effectively to life-threatening situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• BLS certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Emergency department experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Comfortable working flexible per diem shifts, including 12.5-hour shifts

• Strong critical thinking and triage skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
• Knowledge of emergency nursing standards and best practices
• Skilled at prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic setting
