Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care in fast-paced emergency situations
• Triage patients based on acuity and prioritize care effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver optimal outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Previous Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices
• Skilled in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
• Strong triage and prioritization abilities
• Patient-centered approach with a focus on safety and quality
