Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 8.5-hour shifts; scheduling varies based on department needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Triage patients quickly and efficiently to prioritize care
- Collaborate with the ED team to stabilize and treat urgent conditions
- Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with physicians
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
- Respond rapidly to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Louisiana or compact state
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
- One or more years of ED/ER experience preferred
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing best practices
- Patient triage and assessment
- Critical care monitoring and interventions
- Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Effective communication under pressure
- Team collaboration in a fast-paced ED
