Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients arriving in the Emergency Care Center
• Administer medications, treatments, and resuscitative interventions per protocol
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers
• Respond rapidly to life-threatening conditions and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 4+ years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency department experience
• Active, unencumbered RN license (or credentialing in process)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• TNCC and ENPC certification preferred
• Level 1 trauma and large facility experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume emergency setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert clinical judgment in emergency nursing
• Skill in managing adult and pediatric emergencies
• Experience with trauma resuscitation and stabilization
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and multitasking
• Clear communication during high-pressure situations
• Understanding of emergency department workflows and protocols
