Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hemodialysis care to patients with kidney disease
• Set up and operate dialysis machines, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients before, during, and after treatment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures and self-care
• Document treatments accurately and maintain patient records

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Previous dialysis experience strongly preferred
• Completion of a dialysis training program is a plus
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with dialysis equipment and vascular access care
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
