Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Working 4-10's, weekdays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and provide nursing interventions for patients with cancer
- Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology Team to provide quality patient care
- Teach and counsel patients and families on diagnosis and treatment
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary staff
- Evaluate and examine patients with the Radiation Oncologist
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Colorado
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience
- 2 years of traveler experience as an RN
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment
Education
- RN degree
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management
- Current knowledge of latest trends, skills, procedures, and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practice
- Understanding of the latest evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity information
- Ability to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and highly organized
