Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic equipment
• Position patients accurately to capture high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety through proper radiation protection measures
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Proficient in operating X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA
• Ability to assess patients and respond to their needs
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
