Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays using proper positioning and techniques
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and ALARA principles
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshooting when necessary
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout their imaging experience
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Missouri state Radiologic Technologist licensure required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Experience as a Rad Tech in a hospital or clinical setting strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of human anatomy, positioning techniques, and radiation safety
• Familiarity with EHR systems and PACS
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort using portable and fixed imaging equipment
