Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and care.
• Position patients properly to ensure clear images and their comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment safely, following radiation safety protocols.
• Assist radiologists with image interpretation and interventional procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R) strongly preferred.
• Louisiana state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred, but new graduates welcomed!
• Strong desire to deliver compassionate patient care.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Familiarity with radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and adapt quickly.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Proficiency with radiology information systems and electronic health records.
