Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to assist in accurate patient diagnosis
  • Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort throughout imaging exams
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment following established protocols and safety standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize imaging results
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients, staff, and yourself

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R.T.(R)) required
  • Active Oregon state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers (AHA or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in radiologic imaging techniques and equipment operation
  • Solid knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety protocols
  • Comfort with electronic health records and imaging order entry systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
