End Date: 08-31-2026

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, at least every third weekend, holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to adult psychiatric patients including geriatric and bipolar cases
Maintain optimal 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios for quality interactions
Collaborate with the team in a 26-bed inpatient behavioral health unit
Utilize your skills in a dynamic environment that values patient-centered care
Float to med-surg or OB when needed, leveraging your versatile experience

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification required
CPI and AVADE training preferred
Experience with geriatric psych, dementia, and bipolar populations
Comfort with potential floating outside psych highly preferred

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in psychiatric nursing
Proficiency in behavioral health interventions
Strong de-escalation skills with CPI and AVADE
Adaptability to med-surg and OB settings
Commitment to patient safety in seclusion protocols
