Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 05-24-2026
End Date: 08-23-2026
Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional one day a week 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, plus one weekend every third weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide Acute Inpatient PT services to general medical/deconditioned patients
- Treat patients with various diagnoses, including TKA, THA, spinal surgery, and CVA
- Cover Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER areas
- Work effectively with Rehab Aides and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Current CA PT license
- BLS certification
- Acute Inpatient PT experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Education
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute Inpatient PT skills
- General medical and orthopedic patient care
- ICU and ER coverage experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
