Location: Redwood City, California

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting
Document care accurately using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless communication across the care team

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy expertise
Cerner EMR proficiency
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation knowledge
Ability to adapt to varied patient needs across multiple hospital units
