Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collections with skill and compassion
• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of samples
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
• Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification (or equivalent training) required
• Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection preferred
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and best practices
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Familiarity with electronic health records and specimen labeling systems
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
