Shift Type: Per Diem - 12.5-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety
- Assemble, inspect, and package instrument trays and surgical sets
- Operate sterilizers and other processing equipment following strict protocols
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and quality control
- Manage sterile inventory and distribute supplies to surgical departments
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure instruments are ready when needed
Qualifications
- A keen eye for detail and dedication to maintaining a sterile environment
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and procedures
- Comfortable working flexible per diem shifts
- Certification in sterile processing (CRCST or CSPDT) is a plus
- Prior hospital or surgical experience is helpful, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization best practices
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and tray assembly
- Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
- Skills in operating autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Strong organizational and inventory management abilities
