Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric patients
• Assess and diagnose communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans that inspire and engage children
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and families for whole-child care
• Document progress with accuracy to ensure seamless continuity of care
• Educate families on strategies to support communication at home and school

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Experience with pediatric or rehabilitation populations is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for helping children

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Comfort with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools
• Ability to perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and write clear reports
• Skill in developing creative, play-based therapy activities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
• Cultural competence and a family-centered approach to care
