Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Start Date: 08-18-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per Diem Day Shift, 6-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric patients
- Assess and diagnose communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans that inspire and engage children
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and families for whole-child care
- Document progress with accuracy to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Educate families on strategies to support communication at home and school
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience with pediatric or rehabilitation populations is a plus
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for helping children
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Comfort with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools
- Ability to perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and write clear reports
- Skill in developing creative, play-based therapy activities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
- Cultural competence and a family-centered approach to care
