Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions and exercises to improve mobility and function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Previous experience in a hospital or rehab setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
• Understanding of patient care documentation standards
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
