Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises tailored to each child's needs
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other care team members
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to support progress
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Oregon
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Pediatric experience is preferred, but new graduates with a passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a per diem capacity

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Skill in developing engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
