Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess pediatric patients to determine physical therapy needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions tailored to each child
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification required
• Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions
• Understanding of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions in children
• Skill in developing age-appropriate treatment plans
• Proficiency with EMR documentation
• Ability to educate patients and families effectively
