Pediatric Physical Therapist - Per Diem
Location: Spokane, Washington
Start Date: 08-18-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 10.5-hour shifts; days and start times vary based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered physical therapy services to pediatric patients
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help children reach their milestones
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in Washington State (or active application)
- Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- BLS certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate care
- Skill in adapting therapeutic activities to diverse patient needs
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
- Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities
