End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts including Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays; On Call 0-3 times per month (8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays)

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate pre-op care to prepare patients for surgery
Monitor patients closely during Phase I and II recovery for optimal outcomes
Assess incision sites and vital signs with critical care expertise
Track body temperature and stability indicators to prevent complications
Utilize advanced anesthesiology knowledge to ensure safe post-surgical recovery
Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

2+ years as a critical care RN in hospital settings like ER or ICU
Valid BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
Active Hawaii RN license required by start date
PALS recommended, plus NIHSS and TNCC preferred for top candidates

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

PACU nursing expertise
Pre-op and recovery care proficiency
Phase I and II recovery management
Anesthesiology fundamentals
Critical thinking in high-stakes environments
Familiarity with Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, IV Pumps, and monitoring equipment
