Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities using clinical judgment to create personalized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions across inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing settings
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
• Manage a diverse caseload independently, prioritizing patient safety and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff to coordinate holistic care
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve independence and quality of life
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with California OT regulatory requirements and facility policies

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing
• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) current certification
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings preferred
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and basic computer skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to continuous learning

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
