Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to pediatric patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve functional goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies for daily living
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Contribute to a positive, healing environment for children and their families

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in California
• Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessment tools and treatment techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in documenting care in electronic health records
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Adaptability to meet the changing needs of a dynamic clinical environment
