Shift Type: 0630-1900 or 1830-0700, every other weekend, 36 hours/week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional intermediate care to cardiac and vascular patients including those from cath lab and thoracic programs
Titrate critical drips like amio, nitro, and cardizem with confidence to stabilize vital conditions
Monitor and interpret tele strips ensuring sharp vigilance over heart rhythms
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and RTs for seamless 24/7 patient support
Float to similar acuity units sharing your expertise where needed most

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience in cardiac/vascular or similar patient populations
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license to confirm local eligibility within 50-mile radius
Ready to ace that open-book skills exam during orientation

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating vasoactive drips and blood pressure meds
Skill in reading and interpreting cardiac tele strips
Familiarity with respiratory equipment like BiPAP and CPAP
Strong teamwork in fast-paced CVU environments supporting EP, cath lab, and structural heart
