Location: Bakersfield, CA

End Date: 08-23-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform various nuclear medicine studies, including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, and gastric emptying
Operate GE department-specific equipment
Work effectively with Radnet & Merge Unity EMR and PACS systems
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Participate in rotating weekday call and weekend shifts

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS and CA NMTL certifications required
Strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures and techniques

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine procedures and protocols
GE equipment operation
Radnet & Merge Unity EMR and PACS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
