Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: 05-24-2026
End Date: 08-23-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform various imaging studies, including Cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying
- Operate GE equipment and Radnet & Merge Unity software
- Float to Mercy Downtown location as needed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS and CA NMTL certifications
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac imaging
- SPECT imaging
- Bone scan procedures
- Bleed studies
- Gastric emptying studies
- Radnet & Merge Unity software
- GE equipment operation
