Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 05-24-2026

End Date: 08-23-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Operate GE department-specific equipment
Work effectively with Radnet & Merge Unity EMR & PACS systems
Provide high-quality patient care
Float to Mercy Downtown location as needed

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS certification
CA Nuclear Medicine Technologist license

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine procedures
GE equipment operation
Radnet & Merge Unity systems
Patient care and communication
Basic Life Support (BLS)
