Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures on patient samples
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy
• Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers in a timely manner
• Follow strict quality control and safety protocols to ensure reliable outcomes
• Assist in specimen collection, processing, and storage
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from an accepted accrediting agency
• Missouri state licensure or eligibility if required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in laboratory information systems and equipment
• Understanding of lab safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
